The Painting Party 

Following the success of the gardening party the residents of Cold Norton once aging got together to start refurbishing the inside of the pub.  In an attempt to rejuvenate and brighten up the bar area the decision was made to remove the top canopy of the bar.  Having done this a local company re-plastered the walls ready for redecoration.  Following a lick of fresh paint, some new locks on the doors, along with some new pictures, lights and blind the old bar area was transformed into a bright, refreshing and relaxing area for the residents to enjoy.  Donated second hand pub furniture was shipped in, the shelves and cellar were stocked ready to once again serve the community of Cold Norton.
