The Norton Public House

Grand Re-opening

Saturday 8th August 2009

The Norton Public House

This weekend sees the culmination of a fantastic effort by the local residents and supporters of Save The Norton Project. With an almost limitless supply of tools and materials from our sponsors and an endless supply of labour from local residents, the building has beed transformed into a clean, tidy and very useable establishment.

Most importantly, the beer, hog roast, live music, bouncy castle and a DJ for the evening have been ordered as per your votes and are ready to go, so if your not free between now and Saturday, please show your support in the best way you can, by coming down for the opening and joining in the celebrations. Doors open at twelve noon and the first pint will be pulled shortly afterwards although who gets to drink it (and end up on the front page of this website) is yet to be decided.

If you haven't had the opurtunity to come in and look around, have a look at the before and after links listed below which just goes to show what can be acomplished when people come together for a common cause, remember this has all happened in the space of two months. Work behind the scenes has been constant and demanding but with everyones support has also been fun and rewarding at times.

So please, please, please show your support for all those that have worked tirelesly in order to give you back your pub by coming along on Saturday with your friends and family and having a great time!

Don't forget, the TV Cameras and the press will be present.
