We at The Norton are in the unique position of being a free house which is run and operated by the local community on a voluntary basis. 

The Norton Free House is a family friendly village pub providing great beer, local real ales and regular entertainment in the village of Cold Norton.  We are situated are the heart of the village with ample parking and a large beer garden with out-door play equipment for the children.  We have a selection of traditional pub games which our customers can use free of charge.  Dogs and their owner are welcome at all times and you will always be greeted with a friendly face.  If you live in the village that face will most likely be a familiar one also. 

New!! Saturday 4th February - Walk starting and

finishing at the Norton - this will be first one in a

series of walks - Pub open before and after walk.

We have three volunteers lined up to organize and lead this walk

and future walks.  No need to book, just turn up at the Norton at

11.00 am for the first walk.  Children (if capable) and dogs are 

most welcome.  The first walk will be or three to four miles.
